Job Title

Agricultural Technician – Forage Cropping & Land Management

Responsibilities

• Operate modern farming machinery safely & efficiently
• Plant, fertilise, irrigate & harvest forage crops
• Monitor soil, weather & seasonal conditions
• Identify & control weeds, pests & diseases
• Keep accurate records & data capture
• Assist with basic machinery servicing
• Support Manager with expert land management advice

Requirements

Education

AQF Advanced Diploma in Agriculture/Cropping (or equivalent)

Experience

3+ years practical farming/cropping (or strong equivalent experience)

Qualifications

• Current driver’s licence
• Physically fit for manual & machinery work

Skills

• Safe machinery operation
• Pasture, soil & land management knowledge
• Weed/pest identification & control
• Strong numeracy & record-keeping
