Structural Steel Welder – Fabrication Shop
Responsibilities
- Assemble & weld structural steel components (flux-cored & sub-arc)
- Read & interpret blueprints, weld symbols & tape measures
- Rig, hoist & move materials (operate overhead cranes)
- Set up torches, drills, grinders & clamping tools
- Perform daily crane checks & maintain equipment
- Mentor apprentices & junior fitters
- Follow strict health & safety procedures
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 3 years welding structural steel
Qualifications
- Metal Fabrication/Welding apprenticeship an asset
- Ability to weld flux-cored & sub-arc
