Responsibilities
- Daily inspections of tailings infrastructure, embankments & pipelines
- Monitor beach profiles & ensure dam structural integrity
- Manage dust suppression, water evaporation, seepage & return water systems
- Perform minor construction, fencing, signage & road maintenance
- Assist in Gold Room: conduct/coordinate bullion pours & shipments
- Support furnace rebuilds & mercury handling (PPE/gas monitoring)
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications
- Full & current NZ Driver’s Licence (manual preferred)
- First Aid Certificate
Experience
Processing plant experience (mechanical/pumping knowledge advantage)
Skills
- Strong safety focus & adherence to procedures
- Physically fit for outdoor & shift work
- Reliable team player with good communication
- Ability to pass security screening & wear full-face mask daily
