Responsibilities

• Run CAT D10T dozers to push overburden and stockpile ore.
• Grade roads and benches for smooth hauler traffic.
• Follow production plans to meet daily dig targets.
• Check machine levels, tracks, and hydraulics before starts.
• Stick to safety protocols around pits and blasts.
• Communicate with spotters and supervisors via radio.
• Help load trucks or clear areas during shifts.
• Report issues like low fuel or mechanical glitches quick.
• Work the 2:1 roster, ready for 12-hour days.
• Adapt to weather, from dust to rain, without slowing.
• Pitch in on site cleanup or minor maintenance.
• Log hours and production for shift handovers.
• Support the crew to keep operations humming.
• Stay alert for hazards like unstable ground.
• Jump on training to stay certified and sharp.

Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

12+ months operating dozers in open-pit mining environments.

Skills
