Job Title

Apprentice Welder – Maintenance (Pressure Piping & Structural)

Responsibilities

  • Weld pressure piping using SMAW/GMAW/FCAW/GTAW/SAW
  • Fit up, bridge tack & prepare joints
  • Join/sever metals in beams, girders, vessels & components
  • Follow welding procedures & specifications
  • Assist with routine maintenance & repairs
  • Maintain tools & work area safely

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Registered Welder Apprentice (Alberta or interprovincial)
  • Valid driver’s licence & clean 3-year abstract

Safety Tickets

  • CSTS 09 or CSO
  • ESC Fire Watch, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Aerial Work Platform
  • Basic Rigging

Skills
