Job Title
Assistant Technical Executive – Microbiology Laboratory
Responsibilities
- Prepare culture media & reagents daily.
- Receive & log food/water/pharma samples.
- Perform plating, incubation, enumeration (TVC, yeast/mould, coliforms, etc.).
- Autoclave waste & glassware.
- Daily lab housekeeping & 6S.
- Record temperatures, calibration checks.
- Help with stock & inventory.
Requirements
Education
NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Biotechnology, Food Science, Applied Science, Chemical Process, or related.
Experience
Zero experience needed – fresh grads 100 % welcome.
Qualifications
- Singaporean / PR.
- Willing to handle bacteria & raw food samples.
Skills
- Meticulous & good with repetitive tasks.
- Basic pipetting & aseptic technique (training given).
- Comfortable in lab coat & safety glasses all day.
- Team player with positive attitude.
Knowledge
- Interest in microbiology/food safety.
