This Class 2 Driver job is with NZ’s biggest LPG supplier (Elgas) via Programmed – delivering 9 kg & 45 kg bottles and bulk fills to homes, cafés, and factories across Auckland from the Wiri depot. You’ll drive modern auto-tanker trucks, swap cages, hand-unload bottles, fill site tanks, and keep everything 100 % DG compliant. Mon–Fri 6 am–4:30 pm (40–50 hrs) with occasional Saturday mornings. Pay is NZ$29–$32/hr (NZ$62K–$72K/year) + overtime, full uniform/PPE, training, and they’ll pay for your DG endorsement & forklift licence if you don’t have them. You need a clean full Class 2 and 2+ years NZ driving experience. It’s a proper, stable gig for fit, reliable drivers who want South Auckland regular hours and to work for the market leader in gas.

Job Title
Class 2 LPG Delivery Driver
Responsibilities
- Deliver 9 kg & 45 kg bottles + bulk fills daily.
- Hand unload & wheel cages (up to 25 kg lifts).
- Mon–Fri 6 am–4:30 pm + occasional Sat.
- Fill customer tanks with auto-tanker.
- Complete DG paperwork & run sheets on tablet.
- Stock checks & basic vehicle maintenance.
- Keep truck & yard clean.
- Customer chat – be the friendly Elgas face.
- Zero spills, zero incidents.
- On-call roster every 6–8 weeks (extra pay).
Requirements
Education
None required.
Experience
2+ years Class 2 driving in NZ.
Qualifications
- Full clean NZ Class 2 licence.
- Clean MOJ & drug test.
- DG endorsement & forklift = bonus (they’ll pay).
Skills
- Physically fit – lift & wheel 25 kg all day.
- Drive Auckland traffic no stress.
- Follow rules exactly (DG is serious).
