Job Title
Field Service Electrician – Power & Hire Equipment
Responsibilities
- Service, test & repair generators 10 kVA–2 MVA.
- Temp power installs, distribution boards, cable runs.
- Breakdown response & fault-finding on customer sites.
- Commissioning new hire fleet.
- Load-bank testing & certification.
- Complete digital service reports & safety paperwork.
- Keep ute stock tidy & order parts.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III Electrotechnology + QLD Electrical Licence.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years post-trade (hire, generator, industrial preferred).
Qualifications
- Current QLD A-Grade Electrical Licence.
- QLD driver’s licence (manual).
- White Card.
Skills
- Expert fault-finding on 3-phase & control systems.
- Generator synchronising & load testing.
