Geotechnics Ltd (part of Tonkin + Taylor Group) is hiring a hands-on Field Technician for their busy Tauranga lab & field team – get out on major infrastructure, subdivision and environmental projects doing geotech testing, soil sampling, concrete testing, compaction checks, instrumentation monitoring and environmental sampling while earning $28–$35/hr (real $65k–$85k+ year with regular overtime & callouts) + full benefits (health insurance, $750 wellbeing allowance, social club, family events, weekly quiz, paid training & memberships). - Geotech field testing: compaction, plate load, scala penetrometer
- Soil sampling, concrete testing, instrumentation monitoring

- Data entry & accurate reporting

Requirements
Education
NCEA Level 3+
Experience
2–3 years physical hands-on work (labouring, farm, construction)
Qualifications
- Full Class 1 NZ driver’s licence
- Physically fit – lift 25 kg+ regularly
Skills
- Attention to detail & accurate paperwork
- Work outdoors in all weather
