This Field Welder job at Strescon Limited is a full-time on-site role for tough, travel-ready stick welders who build and repair precast concrete structures across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. You’ll weld structural steel, rebar, and galvanized steel on bridges, parking garages, and buildings, work at heights on aerial platforms, grind, torch-cut, read prints, and pitch in with grouting and labour when the bead’s not running. It’s Monday–Friday away from home (company covers hotels + per diem), 50–60 hrs/week in all weather. Pay is CA$32–$38/hr (CA$75K–$95K/year) + overtime, full benefits, RRSP, and wellness perks. Responsibilities
- Stick weld structural steel & rebar all positions.
- Travel Mon–Fri across NB & NS.
- Work 50–60 hrs/week on-site.
- Weld galvanized steel clean.
- Work at heights on aerial platforms.
- Grind, cut, and prep joints.
- Read prints and layout.
- Grout, install, and labour as needed.
- Keep truck and gear organized.

Requirements
Education
High school.
Experience
Proven field stick welding.
Qualifications
- Can work in Canada.
- Valid driver’s licence + clean abstract.
