This full-time on-site Class 4/5 Truck & Trailer + Machinery Operator role is a proper all-rounder ticket with one of Auckland’s busiest civil crews – hauling aggregates, roading gear and containers, plus jumping on rollers, loaders, excavators and dozers when needed. Pay is NZ$34–$40/hr (real $80k–$100k+/year with regular OT at 1.5×), 45–55 hrs/week, fully maintained late-model truck, phone, uniform, medical insurance and 4 weeks leave. Monday–Friday + half-day Saturday most weeks. Perfect for an experienced Class 4/5 driver who can swing a machine and wants big hours with a tight crew that’s flat-out on Auckland projects.

Responsibilities
- Drive Class 4/5 truck & trailer (tippers, low-loaders, flats).
- Haul dirt, metal, machinery, containers.
- Jump on roller, loader, excavator, dozer as required.
- Load/unload with straps, chains, quick-hitch.
- Daily pre-starts and log books.
- Keep truck clean and report defects.
- Work safe on live sites.
Requirements
Must Have
- Full NZ Class 4 minimum (Class 5 preferred).
- WTR (Wheels, Tracks, Rollers) endorsement.
- Clean driving record.
- 3+ years heavy truck + machine experience.
Nice to Have
- Class 5 with road-ranger experience.
- Current site-safe or ConstructSafe.
Pay & Perks
- $34–$40/hr based on tickets & experience
