Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators of various sizes from mini up to 120,000 pounds, dozers, loaders, and skid steers for mass excavation and precise soil removal.
- Execute fine grading using laser levels and grade stakes to achieve exact specifications on active job sites.
- Work around utilities, structures, and environmentally sensitive areas with care to avoid damage.
- Install and work around trench shoring systems including slide rail and trench boxes to maintain safe excavation zones.

What You Need to Qualify
Five or more years of equipment operating experience in civil or environmental work is required. You must have strong excavator skills for both production and technical excavation. Ability to read grading stakes and understand civil plans is essential. Experience working with shoring systems and trench safety practices is required. You should be comfortable working in tight spaces, around utilities, and in active sites. A team player who can communicate well with crews and field leadership is essential. Pay Rate and Benefits
The hourly pay rate ranges from 45 to 55 US dollars per hour based on experience and skill level.
