Key Responsibilities

  1. Achieve IIoT technology solutions sales quota, growth targets, and key performance indicators in your assigned territory and product group
  2. Develop new sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, building rapport, providing technical information, and preparing quotations
  3. Solicit new accounts actively and respond to new prospect inquiries, campaign leads, and designated marketing campaigns
  4. Follow up, track, and maintain records in Salesforce for marketing qualified leads to sales qualified leads, turning those leads into revenue
  5. Work with key account sales teams to develop large potential accounts and suggest related or new items based on customer buying history
  6. Maintain a reasonable working knowledge of responsible products and applications, becoming proficient with internal software tools
  7. Recommend product enhancements based on market feedback and work with the marketing department on related campaigns
  8. Complete special assignments or tasks from management as needed

Qualifications

A technical degree or equivalent work experience is required. Demonstrated previous or current sales experience is a must. You need two or more years of sales or related market experience. Relative experience with technical industrial automation or IoT technology sales is a plus. You must be able to multitask, prioritize, take initiative, and manage time effectively. Strong problem solving skills, high energy, and a positive attitude are essential. You should be able to work alone or as part of a team with a desire to win. CRM experience, preferably with Salesforce, is required. Strong interpersonal communication, social, and presentation skills are necessary. Knowledge of all aspects of PC components, internal and external, and operating systems is expected. Working knowledge of connectivity products including wired and wireless, and automation IO products including communication protocols is a plus.
