Job Title
PCBA Manufacturing Engineer – Google Cloud Infrastructure NPI
Responsibilities
- Lead PCBA & box-build NPI from concept to mass production
- Perform DFx (Design for Excellence) using Valor/Allegro
- Develop & qualify manufacturing processes (SMT, test, assembly)
- Drive site/line/equipment bring-up & transfers
- Collaborate with design, suppliers & ODMs across timezones
- Root-cause analysis & continuous improvement
- Ensure quality, cost & schedule targets met
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s in Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Experience
8+ years in PCBA & box-build manufacturing (server/hardware preferred)
Qualifications
- Expert in Valor/Allegro for DFx
- NPI process development & qualification
- Site/line bring-up & transfer experience
Skills
- Cross-functional leadership with design & suppliers
- Strong English communication (multi-geo teams)
- Problem-solving under tight deadlines
