Job Title
Shift Electrician – 12-Hour Rotating Roster
Responsibilities
- Fault-find & fix breakdowns on high-speed packaging & process lines.
- 12-hour shifts, 5-day rotation, every weekend off.
- Preventive & predictive maintenance on 415 V, VSDs, motors, instruments.
- PLC fault-finding (Allen Bradley & Siemens).
- Install & commission new equipment.
- Run confined space & height jobs when needed.
- Supervise contractors.
- Keep CMMS records perfect.
- Zero lost-time safety culture.
- Eat as much tomato sauce as you want.
Requirements
Education
QLD Electrical Mechanics Licence (unrestricted).
Experience
5+ years industrial maintenance (food/FMCG/petrochem ideal).
Qualifications
- Current Work at Heights, Confined Space, Forklift (or willing to get).
- White Card.
Skills
- Read electrical drawings like a book.
- Troubleshoot PLCs & SCADA in minutes.
- Work alone or lead a mini crew.
- Communicate with operators & engineers.
- Stay cool when the line is down.
Knowledge
- Allen Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix & Siemens S7.
