Job Title
Shift Laboratory Technician I
Responsibilities
- Run GC, HPLC, AAS, titrations, TOC, etc.
- Test in-process and final product samples.
- Work 12-hour rotating shifts (avg 14–15 days/month).
- Calibrate and troubleshoot lab instruments.
- Prep reagents and standards daily.
- Log results real-time for operators.
- Keep lab 5S clean and stocked.
- Support safety and ISO audits.
- Cover other lab streams when needed.
- Zero LTI mindset.
Requirements
Education
NITEC or Diploma in Chemistry / Chemical Process Tech.
Experience
Fresh grads welcome; 1 year analytical lab = bonus.
Qualifications
- Legal to work full-time in Singapore.
- No issue with 12-hour rotating shifts & Jurong Island.
Skills
- Pipette and weigh accurately.
- Follow SOPs to the letter.
- Record data neat and fast.
- Basic troubleshooting of instruments.
- Team player on night shift.
Knowledge
- Wet chemistry + chromatography basics.
- Lab safety and chemical handling.
- LIMS or Excel logging.
- GMP or ISO 9001 environment big plus.
