Job Title
Quality Technician – Optical Fiber Connectors & Transceivers
Responsibilities
- Daily IPQC & OQC on fiber patch cords, MPO, transceivers
- FAI, CPK, GR&R, PPAP documentation
- Use microscope, height gauge, interferometer, insertion/return loss tester
- Record data in Excel & SAP system
- Support customer audits & 8D reports
- Incoming inspection of lenses, ferrules, housings
- Work with production on yield improvement
Requirements
Education
High school or college – any field
Experience
1+ year QC experience (optical/connector/electronics big plus)
Qualifications
- Legal to work full-time in Taiwan
- Basic English (read specs & email)
Skills
- Confident with microscope 100×–400×
- Measure micron-level parts without breaking them
- Excel formulas & charts fast
- Super careful with numbers & records
Knowledge
- Fiber optic connector types (LC/SC/MPO) a bonus
- Basic statistics (CpK, mean, standard deviation)
- ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 basics
