Responsibilities
- Interpret welding specifications, blueprints & manuals
- Operate manual/semi-automatic/automated welding equipment (FCAW, arc spot, fusion)
- Fit, braze, torch-straighten & flame-cut metal
- Fabricate/repair parts in aluminum alloys, steel & heavy metals
- Operate hoisting/lifting equipment safely
- Examine welds for quality & compliance
- Maintain welding equipment & perform minor repairs
Requirements
Education
Trades certificate/diploma or equivalent experience
Experience
3–5 years welding (custom fabrication/assembly preferred)
