Job Title
Journeyperson Welder / Fitter-Welder (Travel Crew)
Responsibilities
- Stick/Flux-core/TIG on carbon, stainless, aluminum.
- Rig & lift heavy plate & spools safely.
- Work shutdowns & projects across Maritimes (2–6 weeks away).
- Day/night/weekend shifts as needed.
- Read iso drawings & weld symbols.
- Pass CWB tests in multiple processes/positions.
- Work at heights & in confined spaces.
- Keep paperwork & timesheets accurate.
- Zero incidents safety culture.
- Be the pro the client trusts.
Requirements
Education
Welding trade certificate (Red Seal huge asset).
Experience
Real heavy industrial / shutdown welding.
Qualifications
- Valid CWB tickets (FCAW/SMAW all-position minimum).
- Specialty tickets (pipe, stainless, aluminum) = big money.
- Clean Class 5 licence + reliable vehicle.
Skills
- Burn perfect welds under pressure.
- Rig 10-ton loads without thinking.
- Work 16 hr days during shutdowns.

Knowledge
