Responsibilities

• Wipe down and tidy residents’ rooms, like beds and tables.
• Clean bathrooms to keep them germ-free and safe.
• Spruce up shared spots, like dining rooms and lounges.
• Keep staff areas, like offices, neat and clean.
• Stick to the cleaning schedule to get things done.
• Write down what you cleaned each day.
• Point out any broken or unsafe things you see.
• Use mops, brooms, and cleaners the right way.
• Work solo or pitch in with the team as needed.
• Make the place feel warm and comfy for residents.
• Follow BaptistCare’s rules for care and safety.
• Check and grab cleaning supplies when low.

Requirements

Education

No diploma needed; finishing high school is a bonus.

Experience

No experience needed, but 1-3 years cleaning or helping in care homes is a plus.

Skills
