Responsibilities

• Pour concrete for curbs or gutters, smoothing it out for a clean finish near Nanaimo’s marina.
• Set up forms, leveling them just right for a sidewalk by Piper Park.
• Prep gravel bases, packing them tight for a solid start.
• Smash up old concrete with a jackhammer for new pavement projects.
• Run trowels or screeds to make surfaces slick and professional.
• Tie rebar to beef up structures like a new ramp or bridge section.
• Keep the site tidy, sweeping up dust or stacking spare lumber.
