Responsibilities

  • Scrub dishes, pots, and utensils to keep the kitchen sparkling.
  • Keep the kitchen area neat during the lunch and dinner rush.
  • Pitch in with small prep jobs, like chopping onions or carrots.
  • Sort trash and recyclables by Earls’ rules.
  • Check cleaning supplies and give the manager a heads-up if they’re low.
  • Stick to safety and cleanliness rules every shift.
  • Work with cooks and servers to keep the kitchen humming.
  • Flag any broken equipment to the supervisor fast.
  • Help set up and clean kitchen stations before and after service.
  • Stay cool when the restaurant’s packed.
  • Chat with the team to make sure tasks get done.

Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food safety certification is a nice extra but not required.

Experience

No experience needed; Earls provides training.

Skills

  • Sharp eye for keeping things clean.
