Job Title

Fruit & Veg Packer – Afternoons

Responsibilities

  • Sort and pack fruit and veg to meet quality standards.
  • Work in a chilled pack room to keep produce fresh.
  • Lift boxes and crates of produce, up to 20 kg.
  • Check orders to make sure they’re spot-on for delivery.
  • Keep the packing area clean and free of clutter.
  • Follow food safety rules to keep things hygienic.
  • Learn to spot the difference between produce types.
  • Pitch in with the team during busy packing runs.
  • Report any gear or produce issues to the supervisor quickly.
  • Stack pallets neatly for smooth deliveries.
  • Handle repetitive tasks like sorting or boxing.
  • Work afternoons, Sunday to Thursday, plus every second Friday.
  • Take a mid-week day off if you prefer a 4-day work week.
  • Stay safe with proper lifting and handling techniques.
  • Help with stock checks or cleaning when needed.

Requirements

Education

No degree or certificate needed; full training provided.

Experience

No experience required; produce or warehouse skills are a bonus.

Skills

  • Fit enough to lift and carry produce all shift.
