Looking for outdoor work this coming season? There’s a grape picking job starting around October 2025 in Mundubbera, Queensland.It’s hands-on work, usually in the paddock, assisting with the harvest. You’ll be picking grapes right off the vine and collaborating as part of a team that takes the fruit off promptly and carefully.The task runs for around 6 to 8 weeks, based on weather and harvest volume. It’s a good seasonal chance for individuals who love being active, don’t mind the heat, and can stay to a steady pace  You’ll be paid hourly or piece rate — whichever applies at the time — with pay starting from $31.19/hr under the Horticulture Award Level 2.Accommodation isn’t provided, but the farm is just under 10 minutes from town. Seasonal Grape Picker – Mundubbera, Queensland.

Responsibilities

  • Pick grapes by hand following farm instructions.
  • Work outdoors in hot conditions for long hours.
  • Handle fruit carefully to avoid damage.
  • Follow directions from supervisors and crew leaders.
  • Stick to time targets while keeping quality high.
  • Keep the work area tidy and safe.
  • Show up on time each day, ready to go.

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience

  • Previous farm or harvest work is helpful, but not required
  • On-the-job training provided

Physical Fitness

  • Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods
  • Able to lift and carry light loads regularly

Other Essentials

  • Must have work rights in Australia
  • Willing to work early mornings and long shifts if needed
  • Able to travel to and from the job site (transport not provided)
  • Good attitude and team mindset
