Responsibilities

• Look over potatoes on conveyor belts or grading lines, tossing out dirt, rocks, or any that aren’t good enough.
• Sort potatoes carefully to make sure only the best ones go through.
• Talk with the team and supervisors to keep things safe and running well.
• Share thoughts on how to make harvest work or teamwork smoother.
• Stick to safety rules around moving equipment to stay out of trouble.
• Keep the work area tidy to avoid slowdowns.
• Be ready for long days—up to 14 hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Lift items up to 50 pounds as part of the daily work.
• Work outside in all sorts of weather—sunny, rainy, or cold.
• Help with quick equipment checks if supervisors ask.
• Work with the crew to hit daily harvest goals with focus.
• Report safety issues or equipment problems right away.

Requirements

Education
