Seasonal Farm Laborer Cavendish Farms Canada

Cavendish Farms is looking for reliable folks to join its harvest crew as Seasonal Farm Laborers in Cumberland, Subdivision C, Nova Scotia, Canada. This full-time job runs for about three weeks, starting mid-September, with long shifts—10 to 14 hours a day, including weekends. Pay is CAD $16.50 to $18.50 an hour, based on experience, and there’s a bonus of up to $2.50 per hour for people who show up every day, work safely, and keep quality high. The main job is checking potatoes on the harvest line, picking out any that don’t cut it, while working outside in Nova Scotia’s fall weather—think crisp mornings or rainy afternoons. You don’t need farm experience; just bring a good attitude, enough strength to keep going, and an eye for spotting small issues. It’s a chance to work hard with a solid team and help get quality food to market. Harvest schedules shift with the weather, so you’ll need to be flexible with hours.
