Responsibilities
- Drive the village van to take residents to appointments or outings.
- Make trips enjoyable with a kind, helpful approach.
- Follow New Zealand road rules and speed limits every time.
- Keep the van clean and check it for any issues.
- Help residents get in and out of the van safely.
- Plan routes to keep trips quick and smooth.
- Tell supervisors about van problems right away.
- Work with village staff to set transport schedules.
- Keep track of trips and passenger details accurately.
- Pitch in with small tasks when not driving.
- Stay professional and caring with all residents.
- Attend training to stay sharp on safety rules.
- Put resident safety first on every trip.
- Handle surprises on the road calmly.
Requirements
Education
No formal education needed. Training in passenger transport or safety is nice but not required.
Experience

No experience needed. 1-2 years driving vans or similar vehicles is helpful.
